Almost always, yes! Our courses are designed to meet international standards and transfer as elective or major credits. We’ll work with your home university’s study abroad office to ensure everything is pre-approved before you arrive. You’ll receive an official transcript from Siam University.
Very safe! Bangkok is one of the safest major cities in Asia. Use common sense (like you would anywhere), and you’ll be fine. We provide 24/7 student support, and you’ll be living near campus with other international students. Thailand is known for being incredibly welcoming to foreigners.
The program is taught at the Global Academy at Siam University in Bangkok, Thailand. You’ll have dedicated access to the Global Academy’s facilities, as well as the broader Siam University campus including libraries, sports facilities and dining. The campus is well connected to the rest of Bangkok by Skytrain (BTS) and metro (MRT). There will also be opportunities for industry experience at locations across Bangkok and beyond.
Nope! All our courses are taught in English, with extensive English support. Thai language classes are available (and fun!) but totally optional. Most young people in Bangkok speak some English, and you’ll pick up basic Thai phrases naturally.
Absolutely! That’s one of the best parts. You’ll have weekends and breaks to explore. Flights to Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia are cheap (often $50-100 round trip). Many students do weekend trips to nearby countries. Just keep up with your coursework and double-check your visa entry requirements!

Your tuition covers all your courses, campus facilities (library, gym, study spaces), student support services, cultural activities, and organized field trips. You’ll pay separately for housing (~$400/month for a private apartment), food, personal expenses, and travel.
Semester/Year abroad students will get a Thai Ed visa for the entire duration of studies, plus 1 month.
No problem! Bangkok has vegetarian, vegan, halal, and kosher options everywhere. Thai food is naturally diverse and accommodating. Plus there’s tons of international food (Japanese, Korean, Italian, Indian, etc.). Just communicate your needs and you’ll eat well.
