Your Global Academy Program

Your program is structured around four main themes covering general education, employability, your degree program, and its specialisation.

The program normally lasts four years, and you can start in January, June or September. 

1. Your General Education
  • Language Competency courses (to bring your English proficiency to a minimum of IELTS 6.0 equivalent by the end of Year 1, or another language if already proficient In English)
  • Digital Competency courses
  • Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Sustainable Literacy courses
2. Your Employability
  • Contemporary Business Practice course, focussed on employability skills and personal development
  • Career enrichment activities including regular masterclasses, mentoring, company visits and networking events
  • Final year Co-operative Education/Internship
3. Your Program
  • In Year 1 Semester 2, you’ll begin your program-specific courses to support your development into your chosen field and your access to LTU majors.

4. Your Specialisation

  • From Year 2 or 3, you’ll begin to focus into your chosen stream and major.
