Academic and English
We welcome applications from high-quality candidates in all subjects with appropriate high school or equivalent qualifications. Students will normally be expected to have a high standing in their high school performance.
Key requirements
- Evidence of suitable academic background.
- Evidence of English language ability.
- A 3-question personal statement indicating readiness and suitability to study at the Global Academy.
- Normally a maximum study gap of 5 years since previous studies, and normally no prior bachelor’s degree.
Academic background
- Grade 12 pass or equivalent
- IGCSE O Level, 5 subjects grade “C“ & above
- GED 4 subjects (145 passing score in all subjects)
- IB Diploma (24 Points)
- Canadian OSSD Diploma – 31 completed credits
- Mathayom 6 (Thailand)
English language ability
If you are a non-native English speaker, or if you have not previously studied in English, you must have satisfactory English language skills to study at the Global Academy at Siam University.
We generally accept a minimum of IELTS 5.0, TOEFL 62 (iBT), Duolingo 85-90, or an equivalent international Secure English Language Test (SELT) qualification.

Free English Language
Placement Tests
If you do not have a sufficient English language test score for entry, we offer a FREE Pearson Versant English Language Placement Test to assess your level within our application process. If you have requested this in your application, our Admissions Team will issue a unique test after assessing your other application documents.
